Bryce is a Research Forester with the USDA Forest Service. Bryce’s research focuses on understanding relationships between the environment, climate, forest vegetation, and songbird communities across multiple spatial scales. His work integrates diverse analytical techniques and spatial technologies in a multi-disciplinary approach, including community ecology, landscape ecology, remote sensing, and forestry. Bryce is working to build a deeper understanding of climate-adaptive forestry by developing climate modeling approaches to guide seed collection within the DREAM study in Wisconsin, US, and developing a silvicultural trial of the Adaptive Silviculture for Climate Change (ASCC) study in southeastern Ohio, US, oak-hockory forests.
