Tremblay, Jean-Pierre Professor

Researcher

Université Laval

Jean-Pierre is a professor in the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Laval University since 2007. He is affiliated with the Centre for Forestry Studies and the Centre for Northern Studies. His research program is at the interface of animal ecology, forest ecology and natural resource management. He seeks to discover how interactions between species, particularly plants and herbivores, influence their abundance and distribution. In practice, current research projects in his lab address both the effects of abundant deer populations on their habitat and conversely the relationship between resource abundance and animal condition.
