Patricia Raymond recently gvae a talk on assisted migration at the "Adaptation de nos pratiques aux changements globaux : applications terrain" symposium organised by the Ordre des ingénieurs forestiers du Québec (OIFQ), Quebec’s professional forester association. The event offered a series of talks on forest management and sylviculture adapted to novel concepts, such as functional diversity, assisted migration, multispecies plantations, and functional connectivity. Patricia’s talk, intitled " Intégrer la migration assistée dans les scénarios sylvicoles : un bon défi! ", explained what is assisted migration to the audience and also the challenges related to its implementation.
