Guy Chiasson is a professor of political science and regional development at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. His research mostly focuses on territorial governance, from the viewpoint of municipalities roles and of the impact of public policies. Several of his recent projects are related to forest governance in New Brunswick and Québec, with the aim to better grasp the opportunities of public and local government participation in this governance. He recently published La ville inclusive. Dans les pas de Caroline Andrew at the Presses de l’Université d’Ottawa and La gouvernance forestière entre secteur et territoire at the Presses de l’Université Laval.
