Brigitte is a forest geneticist. She studies the adaptation of forest trees to climate change. She has taken part in numerous projects on gene flow in forest species, both during the last ice ages and today. In recent years, she has developed expertise in assisted migration and proposes silvicultural itineraries. She is currently taking part in the NW Interreg project (MigForest), which aims to implement this strategy in forest areas for Belgique, Allemagne and France. Its role in the DREAM-QC project is to provide a basis for comparison with the development of this strategy in France.
