Frédéric is a PhD student whose research focuses on assisted migration of black spruce in boreal forests. He began his involvement in the DREAM-Qc project as a research professional in Mathieu Bouchard’s team, where he contributed to the implementation of an experimental site at the Montmorency Forest, Université Laval’s teaching and research forest. He also worked as a research professional on a forest landscape modeling project in the context of climate change, as well as on studies examining the effects of wildfires on forest carbon dynamics. He previously completed a Master’s degree in Forest Sciences on the impact of white-tailed deer browsing on eastern white cedar.
