Sergio is a specialist in the phenology and growth mechanisms of trees in cold environments and, more generally, across the boreal hemisphere. Drawing on his expertise in ecophysiology and biogeography, he participates in projects on the adaptation of plants to local conditions and the valorization of forest resource in a context of global changes. His role in the project DREAM is to plan and coordinate the activities at the experimental design in Simoncouche, the northern permanent site of the network.
